Categories
The Age Principle: The affiliation to the category is determined by the year of birth, if the birthday in the specified age range falls in 2023.
Marathon and a half marathon:
Men: General, Ages 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Women: General, Ages 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
10 km race:
Men: General, up to age 19, ages 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Women: General, up to age 19, ages 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-6
4, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Each category is conditional on the participation of at least 3 runners of the same sex.
If there is no minimum of 3 runners, the category will be eliminated and join the age category below it.
Cash prizes
Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded the day of the marathon and then hand bikes to three runners finishing first in the general category of each race.
10:00- winners ceremony for the marathon and hand bikes both for men and women.

Prize money will be awarded to runners in places 1st-3rd, only if they had not won achievement prizes. If you won an achievement prize - the award shall be according to one of the prizes, whichever is higher.
Gift Prizes
First places in the various age categories will be awarded with attractive gift prizes, courtesy of 2023 Playtika Tel Aviv Marathon sponsors.
Gift prize awards ceremony for winners of the various age categories will take place in a separate ceremony. Details regarding the ceremony will be published later.
Achievement Prize
The first and the second place runners will receive the following achievement prize for their results:

:Notes
These achievement awards are not cumulative (e.g. 1st runner sub 2:07:59 wins 40,000$ only and not any of the other prizes/summing up all the other awards. 1st runner sub 2:08:59 wins 25,000$ only and other prizes are not given to anyone).
Only the first runner to break the record for the 1st place of achievement prizes will receive the highest achievement prize, second runner to break the same record will receive the 2nd place achievement prize, third runner to break the same record will not win achievement prize. Same rules apply for 2nd place achievement prize, if no one reaches 1st place.
The achievement awards are not cumulative with regular general 1-3 places awards.General awards will be given only if no runner receives the achievement awards.
Runners got up to 30 minutes after posting the scores to appeal to the judges, along with 400 NIS in cash, which will be returned if the appeal gets accepted to Gal Levi or Ofer Shytrit.
Elite Marathon Runners:
Men - Whose score is below 2:35 hours.
Women - Whose score is below 3 hours.
Money transfer will take place after results approval by the judging committee of the marathon and a negetive drug test, in a time period of up to 7 working days from the competition.
Winners ceremony will take place at, Tel Aviv in 03.03.22 18:00.
